Position Summary

The Consultant position at Well Built Construction Consulting is a key role within our Client Service team, focused on supporting client projects alongside Senior Consultants, Group Directors, and the Account Management team.

This position is a strong fit for an experienced construction industry professional with a passion for results, problem-solving, and helping clients achieve their goals.

This role requires a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through, with clear accountability for timely project support, quality deliverables, and thorough documentation of client interactions.

Key Responsibility Areas

Client Project Support

Outcome Successfully contribute to the execution and delivery of client projects through accurate, timely, and reliable project support that meets internal quality standards and results in positive feedback from project leads.
  • Assist consulting teams in executing client projects, including execution support and training.
  • Accurately document and distribute meeting notes for 100% of assigned client meetings, clearly capturing decisions, action items, and next steps.
  • Support client deliverables such as project updates, projections, and participation in Discovery Projects.
  • Work closely with Senior Consultants and Directors to learn about the construction industry.
  • Complete assigned project support tasks by or before deadlines, maintaining consistent reliability and responsiveness to project team needs.
  • Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients and team members.

Deliverable Creation & Execution Support

Outcome High-quality, accurate deliverables are consistently developed and refined, meeting internal quality standards with minimal revisions required prior to client presentation. Client execution support is structured, timely, and reliable, contributing to measurable client progress and outcomes.
  • Support client deliverables, including financial projections, strategy execution, and training sessions.
  • Participate in Discovery Projects, gathering insights and providing recommendations.
  • Assist in creating training materials, playbooks, and customized implementation plans.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure deliverables meet internal standards for accuracy, clarity, and readiness prior to client presentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine and improve Well Built’s consulting frameworks, as directed.
  • Prepare client-facing materials, data, and projections with a high degree of accuracy, maintaining a minimum 90% accuracy standard across assigned deliverables.
  • Manage workload across assigned projects to support an average quarterly billable utilization rate of approximately 90%.

Business Development & Marketing Support (Optional)

Outcome Contribute to firm growth through participation in business development and marketing initiatives, as interest and workload allow.
  • Support new business development efforts.
  • Create individual content and contribute to marketing activities, such as LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and more.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in the construction or consulting industry.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Superior organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment in client projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

  • Quick learner with the ability to execute tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to read and understand people, adapting your approach when needed.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: Approximately $75,000–$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Bonus: 20% annual bonus opportunity based on company goals.
